I checked out of this dirty hotel and booked another one nearby. The bed sheet was dirty, and when I asked for it to be changed just an hour after checking in, the cleaner questioned whether I’d made it dirty and was trying to get a clean one. I said I’d go downstairs to smoke while he changed it, since smoking wasn’t allowed in the room. He told me to leave the door open because he didn’t have a key, then asked whether changing only the sheet would satisfy me or if he had to change the duvet cover too. The receptionist was rude as well. The booking said no smoking room, but when I asked, they said none were available in the building. Then the receptionist said they couldn’t let me check in because I might smoke inside.

I stayed almost a year, and the staff were consistently kind, respectful, and supportive. They really made a difference. Management, though, was unprofessional and unresponsive. I had to leave the country for personal reasons, not to move apartments, and gave four months’ notice. Even though I left the apartment in excellent condition, they kept my entire security deposit as a penalty. I followed up several times and was promised updates, but weeks went by without a final answer. For future guests, the contract terms are worth knowing: with a contract, you have to pay a full extra month as a security deposit; without one, if you pay monthly, the deposit is only 50% of the monthly rent. In any case, I think it’s safer and more flexible to avoid a contract and pay month to month, so you don’t face penalties or complications if you need to leave early.

This feels like a horror house instead of a hotel. The alarm goes off falsely at different times, at least twice a day. It happens a lot, and if it wakes you up, you’ll be frightened and won’t be able to get back to sleep.

The staff in reception, security, housekeeping, and room service looked after us well. Thank you all, and I hope to see you again soon. The pool area is a little small, and I hope they can make it bigger someday. I also wish it wasn’t separated for men and women, because I can’t sit with my husband and family at this time. Still, it was a fantastic stay. Thank you so much 😊
