Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel

We had such a relaxing staycation. The room was cozy and clean, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and the service was great. Asad at Reception was especially helpful, and thanks as well to the restaurant team. We really appreciated you all 🙏🏽

The little coffee spot in the lobby was a favorite, with excellent coffee and a cozy place to sit and unwind. The hotel itself felt calm, and the rooms were comfortable. Nearly every room has a lovely view, which made the stay even nicer. The staff were welcoming and always happy to help. Thanks especially to the receptionist who kindly arranged a late check-out so I could stay longer before my evening flight home. I really appreciated that thoughtful help. Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel was a simple but lovely experience, with warm hospitality throughout.

The beachfront view from the room was outstanding, and the beach was only about a five-minute walk away. There were plenty of restaurants nearby too. Breakfast had a huge selection, and the dishes were tasty and nutritious. The waiters and chefs were clearly working hard. I’m staying here now, and I’ve never had this kind of hospitality at any hotel or in any country. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been so nice and helpful, and the staff make guests feel welcome wherever they are. Room service guy Parves and the woman at the towel counter, with her bright smile, deserve a special mention for their service. Thanks for making my vacation feel special. I’d probably recommend the place to fellow travel agents, friends, and family.

The breakfast booking was a huge source of frustration. It clearly said breakfast was included, but when we showed up, we were told it wasn’t. We chose the hotel based on what the booking showed, so the situation felt misleading and embarrassing. Our rooms were also placed far apart, even though I had booked two rooms well in advance and requested connecting rooms through the app. I know connecting rooms depend on availability, but I expected the hotel to at least put us next to each other. It was very inconvenient for our family. We also had to ask a second staff member for ketchup after the first one said “no” without checking or trying to help. Basic hospitality should include a willingness to assist. Our stay at Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel left us very dissatisfied and fell far short of what we expected.
