There were cockroaches in the room, so I had to throw away a lot of food. Every day I worried they might get into what I was eating. The pest control didn’t help at all, and there was an unbearable smell coming from the bathroom. Management doesn’t care about any of our complaints.

The staff and location were the best parts of my five-day stay. They were helpful, and the hotel is within walking distance of Musherieb and Souq Waqif. Parking spaces are available, though there are no access cards or security guard. The room didn’t feel anywhere near four stars by GCC standards. Amenities weren’t there until I asked, the phone didn’t work, the shower was in poor condition, and the internet wasn’t great. The place needs a lot of maintenance. My experience was okay overall.

Loud African music started at 12:30 AM. I complained to reception twice, but it was still playing at 2:05 AM and again when I checked at 4:30 AM. The manager knew and took no action, even though many guests had complained. This is a hotel from hell, destroying Qatar’s reputation!

I made this my home, whether staying short term or long term. It’s very close to the metro station, and the reception and cleaning staff are professional.
