The traditional room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. Housekeeping were professional, and the team members whose names I can’t remember were all friendly and helpful. The management deserves credit too. From the start, Mr Shahin made a real personal connection and did a tremendous job, even on a cold night. Mr Abdulla was also very friendly at check-in. My first impression of Souq waqif hotel Tivoli in Doha was unforgettable, and the service made it a wonderful place to spend a few days. We’re already planning a longer visit and will stay here again.

We had a fabulous stay, and the hotel was a great base for wandering around Doha, enjoying the souq, and sitting on the veranda listening to the call to prayer. Souq waqif is quiet in the morning, then turns into a lively marketplace and social center at night. With a metro station just steps away, getting around the city was easy. The staff made the visit feel special. Omar kept our room spotless, and his warm greetings and consistent smile always lifted our day. Ansar welcomed us when we arrived and saw us off at the end. He was courteous and attentive, with a personal touch when helping with our needs. Kynn at the front desk was dependable and helpful, making everything run smoothly. The hotel’s location in the middle of the souq waqif is excellent.

The location is amazing, and that’s the hotel’s saving grace. Our room looked average and tired, even after the upgrade, and the service was poor. I’d requested an extra bed before we arrived, but it still hadn’t shown up by almost the end of our first day. We were also missing an extra towel, cup, and slippers for the third person. I think there are better, cheaper hotels in Doha.

Ansar was really attentive and friendly. He took care of our bags, showed us around, and sorted us out with good rooms in musreib. Each room was very big. Shahin was very good too. I’d recommend staying here if you want to experience old town qatar.
