The Grand Lux Hotel

The rooms at The Grand Lux Hotel Doha were made for relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had some of my best hotel sleep there. The hotel feels luxurious but still cozy, and the attentive, professional staff handled every request efficiently and with a smile. I had a great stay from beginning to end and recommend it for a visit to Doha, whether for work or leisure.

Imtiaz at the front of house was absolutely amazing. The rooms were quiet, the beds comfortable, and the service excellent, all at good value. The location was perfect, and the room was spotless. Friendly staff too. I’d definitely return.

The pool is big and clean, and the hotel is well located in the city center near the metro. I also appreciated the efforts toward a sustainable environment. Inside, the elegant decorations and paintings give the place a luxurious feel, with enjoyable piano music in the hall. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the comfortable rooms came with a free Nespresso machine, water, and tea bags, replenished when used. Dining was a highlight: the restaurant team, especially the waiters, were professional, kind, and helpful, and the experience was exceptional. There was a wide choice of food, with some new dishes every 2-3 days and new items at dinner. Thanks to all the staff at Grand Lux ​​Hotel.

Our suite was spacious, and the amenities were fine, nothing special but nothing bad. We had a nice family staycation, made extra special by our baby’s first stay, which she really loved. Service was good, and breakfast was included with our booking. The buffet was decent and had a good range of dishes. A few things could’ve been better: the pool closing at 6 pm felt too early, and despite choosing a non-smoking suite, it smelled of smoke when we arrived. We couldn’t find the food menu on the TV, and even after asking twice, no one brought us a menu card. That sums up our one-night stay.
