We loved the design, and the whole hotel was super clean. Our room was spacious, with a good view, a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Breakfast was a treat: vegan pastries were on the buffet, and the chef made vegan pancakes when we asked. The coffee was good, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and our server Osmaan was very polite and courteous. Both main pools were heated to a comfortable temperature. We got good service at the adults pool, with lovely drinks and good food. I do think the menu should list allergens. The Highmore bar on site was also very good for drinks, with a nice happy hour. The hotel is a short walk from the Vendome Mall, so it’s well located. They said there was a buggy service, but when we asked, it never showed up, even after waiting. Walking is probably better. All the staff were friendly and cheerful. It was our first Waldorf Astoria stay, and we’d happily return here or try other properties in the brand. My one complaint is small: the welcome card had the wrong guest’s name on it.

We felt welcome and well looked after from the moment we arrived, and the team were especially lovely with our little son. Everyone we met was friendly, engaged and professional. A special thanks to Simon and Okuku at security by the main entrance, Isa for helping with the luggage, and Brian at the pool. Their warmth and attention made a real difference. A couple of small things could be better: it would be nice to have sunscreen and after-sun lotion at the pool or beach, as some other hotels do, and By Water could offer a little more variety. We had a fantastic stay at the Waldorf Astoria and are already looking forward to coming back in April this year.

The staff made the meal feel comfortable and welcoming, and the food was fresh, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Every dish felt carefully prepared and memorable from start to finish. Sunita deserves a special thank you. She was professional, friendly and attentive throughout, with a positive attitude and genuine hospitality that lifted the whole dining experience. Highly recommended.

Safa at reception was amazing. We had two children, and she offered late checkout to fit our flight. She was always polite and helpful. The manager Zac was very pleasant too, as was Syed the lifeguard. Thanks for a great experience in Doha! Sean Kalyan

Amal and Sahil from housekeeping were so kind, professional and attentive. They kept our room spotless every day, and their warm manner and attention to detail made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We absolutely loved staying at Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, everything felt high-end and well organized, and the service throughout was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing vacation.
