I went in with low expectations after reading a lot of worrying reviews, but came away pleasantly surprised. It's a nice older building, and the price is good for this part of the island. The rooms are small, though the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and there's a nice pool. I'm not sure why so many people complain.

We tried to have dinner here tonight, but were told very rudely and aggressively that there were no tables, even though more than half were empty. When I pointed that out, they got verbally hostile, insisted they were full, and told us to leave. I can't understand treating people with that kind of disrespect, especially in a restaurant. They won't get a penny from us, and I won't try to eat here again.

The casino next door gets noisy now and then. The restaurant food was great, though, and the staff were very helpful. Some of them spoke English.

The staff were friendly and helpful, though their limited English made communication difficult. The rooms were fine, with fresh towels and extra pillows.
