The restaurant is good and feels luxurious. It’s a nice place to stay, play golf, or take the children to the play area.

The place looks good, and golf might be nice, but the rest of the organization was poor. The pool wasn’t open at 33 degrees, even though that’s the minimum, despite lots of people booking villas specifically to relax by the pool over a weekend. We’d asked in advance whether we could use it during our stay, and there were many other problems too.

The golf course is world-class, from its design to the grass, greens, and fairways. It’s well maintained, with huge greens and challenging holes. It’s long, ending at a par 6 hole, 808 yards, with water before a huge double green. The facilities are very modern, clean, and well staffed. This is one of the nicest golf resorts in East Europe. If you golf while travelling to Romania, make sure you play here. It’s an unforgettable experience.

The location is great, and the rooms are pretty with nice views. But the management experience was terrible, and the staff seemed clearly unprepared, far below the service quality you’d expect from a place like this. Services we were promised before arriving turned out to be different. For example, the pool was out of service in June with 33 degrees outside. I understand golf is the main activity, but guests shouldn’t be misled about the other facilities. The restaurant also refused to take our lunch order, then switched off the lights while we were sitting on the terrace in the evening.
