I came for a national chess contest, not for treatment. The rooms were clean, pleasant, and warm, and the food was pretty good. As for the location, there’s nothing to do in Amara.

The staff are nice, and the view is pretty good. But the rooms are old, the water is muddy, and there’s no outlet by the mirror. It gets really hot in summer, and the AC is very old too.

My fiancée and I booked a room at HOTEL PARC, and brown, rusty water came out of the taps along with lots of little bits of rust. I even filled the basin to check the color. When I showed reception, they said nothing could be done. They also told us the room we’d already paid for actually cost a little more than we’d initially been told, and asked us to pay the difference. Of course, we didn’t.

The cold water was muddy, and there was no hot water. Odd, since ours was a group of over 300 people and we’d reserved well in advance 🙄

The restaurant food is okay, but this place gets two stars at most. The hot water is muddy.
