The host was lovely, and there’s a beautiful view. The location is splendid, with lots of new common areas. The jacuzzi, pool, sauna, and salt room were all nice and clean. They also offer coffee and tea as a hospitality gift.

We had a fabulous stay, with spacious rooms and a helpful owner who speaks excellent English. They gave us great tips on places to visit and things to do nearby. The sauna and salt room were lovely extras, and a fantastic traditional restaurant just two minutes away on foot was really convenient. Highly recommended!

We spent five nights here as a family with two children. The rooms are very large, everything is clean, and the host is friendly and happy to share information about local attractions. There’s a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and salt room. It’s a great base, roughly in the middle of the main sights in the Apuseni mountains. I hope we can come back in winter too.

We booked the apartment, which I’d warmly recommend if you have kids. The hotel is modern and sparkling clean, about 6 km from the ski slopes and 100 m from a very popular restaurant. We found it on Air B&B for a short ski break after New Year. I’d passed through before in summer, but this time we stayed two nights, and I wish we’d booked longer. We reserved the outdoor jacuzzi both nights, and it was the best thing ever, with the water heated by a fire-powered boiler. We tried the sauna too, and the salt room makes the place unique: salt stones line the walls and a thick layer of salt covers the floor. There’s also an outdoor pool, though it’s only open in summer. All in all, we had a nice time and will definitely do it again one day, hopefully soon. Thanks to Horia and Cristina for looking after us.
