Pensiunea Ruxandra

The hosts were very kind and attentive to what guests needed. Our room was large and airy, and the bathroom was spacious, but it hadn't been cleaned well enough and the water pressure was low. The guesthouse sits behind a huge, neglected garden, and the building itself looked abandoned. It must have been lovely at first, but this year at least it looks unmaintained. Such a shame!

The rooms and location are nice, but the outside could use some work. The Wi-Fi was the real problem for me. Mobile data doesn't work in the room, so the poor connection mattered a lot.

The hosts seem kind, though they were away on vacation. Check the linen and bathroom facilities, and be prepared for some internal politics. The barbecue area has no furnishings, and they play table tennis all day, as you'll see. It's fine for a single night when there's little time to get annoyed, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer.

The place is very airy, and that's about the only plus for me. The yard was neglected and cleanliness was lacking. I had to walk 500m to a shop just to get coffee. At night, the neighbors through the wall were noisy, and the host did nothing about it.
