Pensiunea Floare de Colt

I was on the second floor in a spacious room with a balcony and bathroom. The furniture is old and cheap, and the beds are cramped. Bedding was clean but old, and while most of the room was okay, it hadn’t been vacuumed. There’s a large shared kitchen downstairs and an outdoor grill that all guests can use. The person looking after the place was friendly and helpful, and restaurants are nearby if you want to eat out. This pension/small hotel seems better suited to ski or summer camps with children and teachers than to a solo guest expecting a hotel experience. It isn’t soundproof at all, so if the place is full and people are noisy, you’ll hear everything. No photos, sorry, but there’s enough here to form an opinion. That’s about it.

A clean, well-heated mountain cabin near the Borsec slope and 15 km from Toplita slope. Each floor has a kitchen, so you can cook for yourself. Trust me, eating in seems like a very good idea compared with going to a restaurant in Borsec.

The rooms were extremely dirty. The shower was too filthy to use, and the plates in the morning were just as bad. The lady tried to scam us. Go somewhere else!

A budget stay, if that’s what you’re looking for. The owners are behind on technology, and the rooms are fairly clean, but don’t expect anything fancy or especially welcoming.
