The rooms were clean, but the floors squeaked. I stayed just before Christmas, when they’d decorated the place with lots of things to make it feel friendly and familiar. There’s no food available at all, though coffee and tea are free, which is nice. I’d recommend it for the free parking out front, the quiet, and how close it is to the old town, at most a 10-minute walk.

The owners get five stars from me, they were very friendly. The accommodation was okay, with very big rooms, and it’s only a five-minute walk to the city center. You can park on the road right in front of the villa. The water wasn’t very hot after 11 pm, and something needs to be done about the rugs on the inside stairs. I nearly fell.

We stayed one night, and it was a pretty bad experience. The left window was damaged and wouldn’t open, and the other one had no mosquito net. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned for a while. I thought the price was too high for what was offered. In my opinion, the extra charges seem like an attempt to scam future customers and beat the competition. The receptionist seemed a bit arrogant. We’ll definitely avoid this place in the future.

We booked the family attic, which was supposed to sleep four. In reality, the pull-out sofa was extremely short, and only one small person could sleep on it.
