We stayed for 3 days, and the location is right in the city center. But the place wasn’t clean, the floor and toilet were dirty, and the bed was shifted. The apartment didn’t look as nice and clean as it does on their website. The building felt damp and smelled musty.

I never actually stayed there, but I booked a room and was charged the full amount that same day. Later I changed my travel plans and no longer needed a stay in Cluj-Napoca, so I canceled within the stated free-cancellation period. A week later, the refund was €3 short. They said it was because the refund came in the local currency and I’d lost the difference on the exchange rate, and they wouldn’t take responsibility. To me, they kept money that was mine. Congrats to the accommodation on making €3, but they’ve lost what I would have paid on a future visit to Romania. Other potential guests may also think twice after reading this.
