Noemi Old Town

The employees were nice, and so were the women working at the grocery store across the street. We stayed just one night in the biggest room, and the price for it was great. It had its own kitchen, a sauna, and two large windows overlooking the street. That part of town looks like a vacation city from the movies.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We rented a whole floor with five rooms and an apartment, and all of them were in the same condition: dirty, with tobacco smells in every room and dirty, bad-smelling bathrooms. The furniture was broken, including the drawer doors. The landlord was also very rude.

Months after we booked, the accommodation said they'd sold the property and couldn't host us. It turned out they were “overbooked” and wanted to give the room to someone else who had offered more money. Customer service was poor. I received more than 10 calls and numerous messages telling me to stop speaking to Booking.com about the matter.

The bed was comfortable and clean, but the stay wasn't memorable. Though it's in the city center, it gets loud: people run past yelling in the middle of the night. The room walls are thin enough that I could hear my neighbors, and the equipment could be better maintained. I couldn't find a bathroom plug. Wi-Fi was available, but I couldn't use it. :(
