Schuster Boarding House

Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had plenty of variety, and the staff were exceptional. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Schuster is only a couple of streets from the Old Town, tucked away on a quiet side street, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a hot stone massage and a facial, and both of us came away feeling rejuvenated. The one minor drawback for me was the firm mattress in our top-floor twin room. I’d have liked it softer, though that’s personal preference and I can’t say whether the other rooms are the same. The team made arranging restaurant bookings and activities easy, and they had helpful suggestions too. We felt at home from the moment we arrived because everyone was so friendly, thoughtful, and clearly proud of their work. Breakfast had small changes each day, with a good buffet, cakes and desserts, and hot options like eggs, bacon, and mushrooms cooked to order. Afternoon tea with a sweet treat was a lovely extra. The building is beautifully put together, balancing its historic feel with contemporary design. It’s cosy and relaxing, with a luxurious feel, and sits right by the historic heart of Brașov. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. You can tell the staff care about guests having a comfortable stay and leaving with good memories. Thank you Schuster Boardig House!

The staff made the stay feel personal, with attentive and friendly service that came across as sincere. The hotel itself is quiet and refined, but still warm, and the rooms are beautifully designed with thoughtful details and plenty of character. Schuster House Boutique Hotel felt elegant and inviting from the moment I arrived. I enjoyed the comfortable room and calm surroundings, and left with a lasting impression. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We went for a short break and I’m already planning to come back this winter. I’m picky about hotels, but this one deserves five stars for the staff, location, room, breakfast, and the whole stay. I also had a deep tissue massage with Roxy, the best I’ve had, and it was great value. Our room was cosy, very clean, surprisingly spacious, and had lovely bathroom products. The wood beams looked beautiful, the bed was really comfortable, and the view took in Tampa mountain and the famous Brasov sign. The building is impressive inside and out, and even smelled amazing. At check-in, the staff were friendly and professional, and my partner was given complimentary bubbles. Breakfast was first class, with lots of high-quality choices. My made-to-order omelette was so good, and the pastries were divine. Alexandra and the dining staff were especially friendly, with five-star customer service. There was more food than we could eat. The hotel is in the old town on a quiet street, with shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The area was lovely, and everything was very cheap too. The staff were consistently professional and excellent. I’ll definitely be back. Five stars.
