Ambasador Bucharest

Mr. Anghel at reception was great, and listened to our requests. The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean and nice. We had a pleasant stay and will keep Ambasador Hotel in mind when we come back to Romania. Thank you!

I was allowed to leave my luggage in a designated spot after checkout, which helped when I needed to head out without it. The room was in good condition, warm, and quiet, but the hotel felt empty, and being there alone was a little scary. I also had to keep going down from the 8th floor because my key card wouldn’t work. Ask reception if you need an iron or a toothbrush and toothpaste. I spent two nights here, and would call it a good 4 stars for the hotel.

The supermarket is across the road, and it’s no more than a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Town and nightlife. Rooms were clean and had a TV, fridge, small balcony, and a good shower. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was basic but enough to keep me going until the afternoon. A good value hotel in central Bucharest. Thanks again, I’ll definitely be back!

The bathroom was nice and spacious, and the receptionist was helpful. The twin room was roomy, but there was no kettle or safe box. You can use the one at reception, though it’s very small. The rooms were very hot in January. I’d say three stars at best, definitely not a 4-star hotel.
