"Ateneu" Apartments

The gentleman was kind and helpful, but the place itself was a huge disappointment. The rooms were comfortable, yet the kitchen was freezing, and when the radiators started leaking, water flooded it. We had booked three beds, one double and two singles, but the owner told us by phone there were only two double beds. The cleanliness was awful throughout. Dust on the furniture looked months old, and trying to clean with the products in the house didn't help. The sheets and towels smelled, the kitchen and its cutlery and appliances were dirty, and the fridge was encrusted. My boyfriend was bitten by an insect in the unwashed sheets and now has an ongoing infection. The listings on the various apps don't match what's there: no dishwasher, dryer, Smart TV, or heated blankets. It all felt like a sham, and I strongly advise against staying here. I hope the review prompts changes, especially to the cleanliness, which matters for guests' health.

There was only one bathroom, not two, and no single beds. The place was filthy, with dust everywhere, a dirty kitchen, fridge, and appliances. The sheets, blankets, and pillows smelled, too. An insect bit me, and I'm developing an infection. When I turned up the heating, water leaked from the radiator and flooded the whole house. I also wouldn't recommend it because it didn't have a dishwasher, dryer, Smart TV, PlayStation, Xbox, iPad, iPod, electric blankets, balconies, Netflix, or a computer.
