B&B Casa Mica Guesthouse

Such a lovely place, full of good vibes. We felt right at home, and the staff who looked after us were super friendly. There’s a beautiful garden with birds singing in the background, a nice way to feel close to nature. The food was delicious. I’d come back anytime. Thanks for everything ❤️🙏✨

The location was convenient, with supermarkets and bakeries nearby and the metro close by for getting to the city centre. A day pass costs 8 Romanian Leu. The host also kindly got up at 2/3am to let us in after our flight was delayed. But the rooms were very dirty and smelled musty, as if they hadn’t been cleaned for ages. The carpet felt grimy, and there was dust in all kinds of corners and crevices. No soap or toiletries were supplied. We had three rooms, and only two had hand soap. I was traveling with a small baby who needed milk, and there were no kettles. The first night I asked for hot water and got some in a sauce pan. The next night, the owner didn’t answer my calls or messages. He replied three hours later and asked why I hadn’t contacted staff around the building, but I didn’t know where they were and he had never told me. In one room, the light switch was behind a fridge, so we slept with the light on the first night rather than disturb the host so late. After the host responded, that was the same attitude we’d experienced during our stay. It felt like he was blaming us for not asking questions. Please share the messages you’re referring to. I can provide mine showing I requested hot water around 8pm and didn’t get a reply until 11:30pm. Really bad attitude from a host. I’m leaving this review so future travellers know what to expect.

We arrived at 2 just as the owners were about to head out with their dog and go shopping. Glad we made it in time, since the weather was rainy and miserable. The rooms were spacious and nice and warm, even with the bad weather outside.

We haven’t even checked out yet, but I had to sit down in my room and write this. If you’re staying in Bucharest and want the best value for your money, Casa mica is the place! It’s beautiful, the rooms are clean, the a/c works great, and the pool is incredible. We didn’t expect something this cool for the price. The staff are really nice and welcoming. We were only meant to stay one night, but decided to add another after getting here. Thanks, casa mica, for making us feel at home :)
