Elizeu Hotel

The AC was the reason I booked here, but it wasn't available. When I asked about it, staff said it was too cold outside for the air conditioning to run. Later, when I needed help in my room, I was told to open the window. Mosquitoes then bit both my hands and my face, and I had severe allergic reactions on my left hand and cheek. I couldn't sleep at all that night. I was paying over 200 lei a night, and felt my health had been put at risk. The receptionist's response, “And what else can I do?”, was unacceptable and unprofessional. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. If honesty, professionalism, and basic comfort matter to you, I'd strongly advise avoiding this place.

The room photos have little to do with what you find there. It felt more like a very poor hostel than a three-star hotel, and even the door locks didn't make me feel secure. The bathroom seemed stuck in the 1970s or maybe the 1980s. I can't explain how this place got its stars. A waste of money, and the worst end to a holiday trip I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend booking here to anyone with common sense.

The beds were clean, though only twin size, and the laminate floor looked nice. But the bedrooms aren't quiet, I could hear the neighbors, and the bathroom smelled every morning. Being by the train station and main road also meant constant noise from loud cars and motorcycles.

There’s a restaurant attached, and the hotel feels comfortable and friendly. Bucuresti Nord, the main rail terminal, is an easy walk away.
