Hotel Irisa

I was very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is exceptional. It feels a little dated technically, but everything worked and smelled good. Based on how it felt, I'd easily compare it with Marriott hotels.

The restaurant is attractive inside and the service is good, but the food wasn't. The meat was chewy and tasteless, and the fries were terrible. It's very expensive for what you get. Also, bread, sour cream, and chili peppers are charged separately when you order soup, and a 10% tip is added to the bill.

I can't comment on the place itself since I only called a few days ago to ask about booking for a large group. The receptionist shouted at me, interrupted, and insulted me, like a communist policeman. Thank goodness the city has plenty of great alternatives.

The waiter was dismissive from the moment I arrived with my guest around 10:30 am. Before seating us, he asked what I wanted. When I said I'd start with coffee, he told me to move to the waiting room “since all you want is a coffee.” We had actually come for breakfast and ended up ordering quite a bit of food. Later I asked for a menu, but he never brought one or came back to take our order properly. It seemed like rearranging the space for lunch mattered more than serving paying customers. Shockingly rude and unprofessional, and I won't return.
