We were lucky to get the last three king size bedrooms at this hotel near our destination. The rooms are huge and have funky decor. The all you can eat breakfast was good, the Lebanese restaurant served delicious food, and room service was quick. The temperature in the room was my only complaint. It was much too warm for comfortable sleeping, and you can only adjust it from the room.

Alexandra at the front desk deserves a special thank you for the excellent service today. After we checked in, we had a special request about the room arrangement, and she handled it patiently and professionally. She was thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely helpful.

The Lebanese restaurant was good, though the service there was very slow. The hotel itself felt old fashioned, with a design that tries for luxury, and the reception staff were very unprofessional. At 4:00 in the morning, a phone call from reception woke me because they were looking for someone who had ordered food. There was also a party at night, and with the thin walls, you could hear everything and it was impossible to sleep.

I only picked this hotel because it was fairly close to the main airport. The rooms are quite old, and it doesn’t look like they’ve been renovated in the past couple of years. I booked it for the pool, but the receptionist told me there wasn’t one. When I asked for a takeaway breakfast, I got a dry, tasteless toast bread sandwich. Definitely not a four-star hotel.

The staff came across as welcoming and reliable, and everything in the rooms worked. Breakfast was close to five-star quality, but the rooms felt more like three-star and could use some refurbishment. I’d rate the place four stars overall.
