Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Bucharest North

Everything was clean and tidy, the linens were fresh, and the bathrooms spotless. Housekeeping deserves credit, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The location is convenient too. Still, the hotel has seen better days: the décor and facilities are old, some furniture is worn, and the room, bed, and bathroom were all very small, which made the space feel cramped. It's a decent, clean place for a stay, but don't expect modern amenities or luxury. The outdated infrastructure and small rooms make it fall short of what I'd expect from a higher star rating, even though the stay was comfortable. I'd give it three stars.

The staff were exceptionally polite, and the hotel was tidy and clean. But there was an unpleasant, plastic-like smell in the corridors. In the restaurant, the food was average. I wouldn't recommend the chicken soup, it was basically warm water with bits of meat and vegetables. The sauna and hammam were clean, but a little neglected. There also weren't enough power outlets in the room, especially near the bed. There was just one on one side, hidden behind the curtain, and it didn't work. Video attached.

It looks quite good, but the location is really questionable and the setup feels quite nefarious.

The park nearby is great, and it's a quiet location close to the main airport. That's about the only positive. The hotel is old, smelly, and clearly past its best days. The room had a strong cigarette odor. After I complained, staff only opened the window and turned the aircon up to maximum. It was so noisy that sleeping with it on was impossible. Parking is a few hundred meters away, and there's no valet parking or porter service. Great place for making retro movies.
