Stil Hotel

Even arriving late, after about 9 pm, was easy because someone was still at the service desk. The room was clean and nice, and the breakfast was beyond what I expected. Service was very good too. The location makes it easy to get around, and the metro and bus station are both an easy walk away. I had a very pleasant stay!

I stayed for a week, and while everything else was fine, there were a few things missing from the room. There was no full-length mirror, and I would have liked a kettle with water and tea or coffee instead of having to go down to the first floor just for water. The breakfast was good. To me, it felt more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one.

The room was an average hotel room, and the bathroom was clean, with no mold or anything like that. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted good. There isn't a hotel parking lot, but there are plenty of spaces on the very busy street for 30 lei/day. The windows have zero soundproofing, so you hear the heavy traffic until you fall asleep. They do provide earplugs. I don't know the star-rating criteria, but this felt more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel.

We found this when searching for airport hotels, but it's actually a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. Staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in and checkout at 4 am were easy. We had two clean but outdated rooms with carpeting: one double room had barely enough space to open a suitcase or move around, while the twin room was only a little bigger. One room smelled terrible. We didn't raise it because it was late, we were exhausted, and we knew the place was fully booked. By US or general European standards, I wouldn't consider this a 4-star hotel. It has no pool, gym, restaurant, spa or other luxuries.
