I had my father hospitalized here for about two months last fall, and it was an ordeal. He needed oxygen therapy, but they only had a mobile device, so I had to bring my own. At night the elderly are locked in their rooms, and there is no panic button for patients to call for help. My father fell in his room three times. Meals are served in aluminum dishes, like in prison. Relatives have to provide all the medication. Even when you bring sanitary supplies, such as bandages and wound treatment solutions, they aren't applied to the patients. CASMB pays 250 lei/day for each patient, while relatives pay another 3-4000 lei/month. All respect to Dr. Andreea Stoica and a few nurses with a soul. Otherwise, it's misery. The center manager, Mrs. Voiculescu, was the worst part. I've rarely met someone so arrogant and insensitive. Very concerning!

My father spent his final months at Suter House. Finding outside care for such a delicate situation wasn't an easy decision, but a friend recommended the place and vouched for the staff's professionalism, quality, and humanity. They provided my father with care and everything he needed until the end. The staff responded promptly and were extremely prepared during two difficult moments for him. When my mother's health declined due to terminal cancer with generalized metastases, we admitted her to Casa Suter. It was a very hard decision, but I don't regret it at all. They cared for her continuously, keeping her clean and feeding her by spoon. I found qualified medical staff, and people with real heart. I can't find words for what a wonderful person the director, DNA Dr. Voiculescu Liliana, is, or for how she helped me when I had no other option. Thank you all for everything you did for my mother. My mother remained at Casa Suter for four and a half years, until she passed away. That says something about the care and the fact we never felt a need to move her. She could be demanding, and while she sometimes disagreed with measures taken for her health, she had no complaints about the staff or management. Some disagreement is inevitable. We chose Casa Suter after her health worsened, partly because a trusted family friend had been satisfied with the care his father received there. We had already had a bad experience with a similar institution for another family member, so the decision wasn't easy. The staff seemed kind and attentive to all patients, not only those with visitors. When my mother had health problems, including a hypertensive crisis, she was treated appropriately. They kept us informed, and when urgent issues came up, they contacted us quickly and explained the options and their implications. We were satisfied with Casa Suter. Some friends' mothers are there now and are satisfied too.
