Upstairs Boutique

The room was good for the price, and I left satisfied. The lady was fantastic and quickly arranged two separate beds for us. Breakfast wasn’t fancy, but coffee, toast, egg, and fruit were enough to leave me full. My bed was a bit hard, which I prefer to one that’s too soft. You can hear every step outside your room, so try to keep quiet. Luckily, I didn’t hear street noise and slept well most of the night. One thing to know: there are stairs, so come in good shape and don’t bring a ton of luggage.

There are lots of narrow, curved steps to climb, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. The location is excellent, with most places in the city center within walking distance. My room was a good size, the bathroom was compact, and everything was reasonably clean. Breakfast was adequate.

A lovely, quiet, cozy place in a fantastic spot right in the heart of the city. We walked pretty much everywhere. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was hot water in the shower. Just be ready for the extra cardio: there’s no elevator, and “upstairs” really means upstairs!

A good price for a clean, quiet boutique hotel with a decent breakfast. It’s well placed near the university and the old town. The single room is small, and with all those stairs and no elevator I wouldn’t recommend it to overweight people. There’s no fridge.
