It’s a nice place to stay, with a large two-bedroom apartment that has a living room, kitchen, and balcony overlooking Bucegi. The bed and bedding were the letdown. The mattress wasn’t comfortable, and the sheets kept slipping off it.

Mr. Iordache was an exemplary host, and the 160 m2 penthouse was clean, well equipped, and laid out really well. Every room was exterior-facing and had access to a balcony. It’s a dream location, and we’ll definitely come back another time.

There were no mosquito screens on the windows, which was a big downside. I’d asked for two double beds, but got one double bed and a sofa bed, and the sofa bed wasn’t nearly as comfortable as a proper bed.

So much space and a great view. The windows could use a little more attention to detail.
