The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and shared helpful tips about local attractions. We woke to breathtaking mountain views every morning, which made the stay memorable. The cabin was cozy and well equipped, with a nice mix of rustic charm and modern comforts, in a picturesque part of the Romanian countryside. A peaceful getaway, highly recommended.

The rooms were fairly clean, but the house had a lot of problems. We rented the entire villa because we had kids with us, yet the owner also let some young people rent an area and have a noisy party. None of the room doors closed properly, some showers leaked from the ones above, and the floor squeaked terribly. The dining tables had loose parts too. Our expectations were already low, but the stay was even worse than that.

After I left, the proprietor treated me very badly. During the stay, I was unfairly asked to pay for things that had already been broken before I arrived. This was a terrible booking experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.

We had comfortable beds in spacious, attractive rooms with a lovely view, and the staff were kind and helpful. The place sits beside a small river, with the Heroes Cross visible on the mountain top. The nearby train line didn’t bother us. There’s a shop downstairs for groceries, plus a backyard barbecue area where you can spend time with friends, grill meat or vegetables and have a glass of wine while looking at the mountains. Prices are good, and I recommend staying here. Enjoy!
