The rooms were decent and getting to the hotel was easy, but the cold made us leave after two nights. We'd booked a premium room, only to find its window looked straight at a bridge pillar. At check-in, the receptionist said the heating would be off that night because it was Sunday, and that the owner would switch it on the next day. After a freezing night, with the temperature close to 2 degrees, we saw the owner around the property the following day and the heating was on, but the radiators were still cold. That evening, when we asked whether the heat would be turned up before we spent a second night in the cold, we were told not to expect "hot heaters." We ended up buying a room heater from a local store. Without a proper room temperature, there was no comfort. Calling two stars generous says how disappointed we were.

There's no elevator, and the stairs are a lot if you're carrying luggage. I'd skip the breakfast too, it isn't worth the time. Otherwise, it's a simple place with fair value, good enough for a stop on the road.

The reception staff couldn't speak English or work out how to use the bank card terminal. The rooms also had a strong chemical smell, and I hit my head leaving the bathroom because its door was so low.
