The old city and fortress on the opposite hill look stunning from the outdoor jacuzzi, and there’s a sauna too. Rooms are well equipped, with a kitchen available and self service. It’s a good option near Sighisoara center if you’re after decent accommodation. We did run into two problems, though: parking was lacking, and the WiFi signal inside the pension wasn’t good.

A market is just around the corner, and the citadel is about a three minute walk away. It’s a nice little motel close to the city center.

The rooms are nice, spacious, and right in the center, but our booking experience was frustrating. We reserved two rooms a couple of months ahead and offered to pay in advance. The owner said there was no need, since she always writes down each order. She quoted 140 for a triple room and 160 for a room for four. When we arrived, the price had suddenly become 200 rons per night, and the owner “didn't remember” the offer she'd given us.
