It’s a pleasant spot near the sea, with the closest beach about 200 metres away. Breakfast was good, and parking is free. The outdoor pool is nice, though it isn’t heated. The building feels old and creaky, and in my opinion the very old elevator is a hazard.

The food was good and cheap, and the pool was superb. It’s a cozy, natural-feeling place. At midnight by the pool, with its blue lights on, I asked my girlfriend to marry me. The staff helped with the music and flowers, and it was perfect. This place has a very special meaning for us now. We loved it and will be back. 5/5, you should visit.

The staff’s warm smiles are everywhere, from reception to the restaurant, bar, and cleaning team. We were even welcomed in the room with local sparkling wine and a chocolate bar. The hotel itself is an old post-communist building, but the owners, management, and staff have done a great job making it pleasant. The grounds feel like a little park, with lovely trees, small palms, carefully arranged plants, bird sculptures by the fountains, and a little bridge near the entrance. My room on the fourth floor had a sea view, and the beach was about a five-minute walk away. The room was modest but had a large fridge and a nice balcony with two wooden chairs and a small table. The air conditioning was quiet and worked well. The swimming pool was clean and lovely, with a bar. The restaurant serves fresh, tasty food, though it isn’t very sophisticated. Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but there’s a large selection to order from and the service is very efficient. Definitely try the cheese omelet. Cleanliness is another strong point. Some places win you over right away and make you feel you could stay a long time. I’d strongly recommend this as one of the best places to stay on the Romanian seaside.

The hotel pool is popular with families and children. The area around it is clean, and the decorations give it a nice look. Breakfast is à la carte, and paying with hotel coupons is an interesting change. The hotel itself is a standard mid-range place that fits its three-star category. The room is a little small but adequate. A few staff speak English, even at reception, so there’s a bit of a language barrier, though they’re friendly and try to help. The beach staff, self-appointed lifeguards, were insolent and arrogant. Although we had free sun loungers and parasols, we went to other beaches.
