The staff made a real impression, such friendly lads who were always smiling and clearly seemed to enjoy working there. The owner even treated us to some special drinks, which we appreciated. We loved the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the direct view of the nearby cascade. After a chilly day, this mountain retreat near Bâlea Lake was a warm place to come back to. The restaurant soup was especially tasty in the foggy rain and fresh air. Everything felt carefully prepared, and the heartfelt service made the stay unforgettable. We’ll be back for sure!

The location is perfect, with breathtaking views and a great hike toward the waterfall. The rooms were clean and the food was tasty. We had an amazing time, thanks in part to the friendly, attentive owners and staff.

The balcony view was lovely, and the waitress and manager were both very nice. The menu was limited after the weekend, but what we ate was very, very good, and so was the wine. A really nice experience. Stay here!

We only stopped in for a meal, and it was delicious. The seasoned vegetables with polenta were especially good, the chef’s seasoning brought them to life. The staff were welcoming too. We highly recommend eating here.
