We stayed here the night before heading up the transfagarrison in the morning. The location is great, and our room was clean. There’s plenty of bike parking, which was useful. The family who own the place were very nice and speak English.

The big guest kitchen is quite nice, and the rooms are comfortable with functional bathrooms. We had the cutest sheets on the smaller of the two beds, I wish I had those at home. I’d definitely come again, since this place has what I need at a very reasonable price. If you’re after comfort, responsive hosts and a quaint setting, this is the spot. For anything fancy, look for a hotel with stars or a ski lodge.

The rooms are small, and the bathroom is tiny, but everything seemed clean. The host was friendly and helpful, and the price was decent. There’s a terrace where you can sit, enjoy the fresh air and take in the great view. A little river nearby adds a relaxing sound in the background. We also had a bear nearby in the evening.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and there are friendly dogs around. A small stream runs beside the house, and you can hear it from your room if you open the window.
