The host was generous, friendly, and happy to help with anything. The house is modern, roomy, and has excellent showers, plus a big kitchen with everything we needed. Outside, there’s a lovely yard with apple trees, a wood stove/BBQ, and a trampoline for the kids and the kid in all of us. It’s right at the foot of the Transfagarasan mountain highway, near picturesque Balea Lac. Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

We had the huge house to ourselves and ate apples from the garden. Every evening we had a BBQ, and we also spent time visiting the surrounding area. Transfagarasean and Balea Lake are just around the corner. Really nice place.
