The apartment was clean, with nice furnishings that matched the Google photos, perhaps with fewer flowers. The manager left a simple but nice breakfast in the fridge and on the table, and the kitchen had most of the utensils needed for cooking and serving meals. She was also very prompt about arranging key collection after I booked, and was kind and helpful. There's off-street parking, as long as the lot isn't full, which is useful in a city this size. The price felt steep. I paid about $50 a night, making it one of the most expensive places I stayed during nearly a month in Romania. A couple of similar apartments in comparable locations that I'd planned to book were taken before I could finalize them. With a few days' notice, you may be able to find something considerably cheaper in the city. If this fits your budget, though, it should do the job. The washing machine plug couldn't reach the outlet. I managed with an extension and surge protector brought from another room, but it took some figuring out, and the apartment manual didn't explain a fix. There didn't seem to be air conditioning. That's common, but it can be uncomfortable in warm weather, especially a few levels up. The bedroom's big windows open, but with no screens I didn't want to open them wide in case pigeons got in and became trapped or made a mess. There was an oscillating fan.
