Sport Hostel Cluj

I honestly don't understand how this place has such good reviews. They must be fake, because the establishment was dirty and disgusting, unlike anything I've ever seen. They put me in an attic-type room, with one bathroom shared by the whole floor. It was uncomfortable, smelled really bad, and was very dirty. The sheets, floors, and towels were filthy and covered in black hair, and the toilet was clogged. Very disappointing. I'm never coming back.

I came from Italy for my first visit to Romania and Cluj, and the stay was even better than I'd expected. The hostel owner was welcoming and helpful, so I felt at home. The room was much cleaner, quieter, and more spacious than it looked on the website. I also loved being able to get fresh coffee from the kitchen at 5 in the morning. The airport is very close, and I paid only 2.5 euro to get there. 🫢 Highly recommended for a visit to Cluj.

We got in around midnight, and the owner was still there to check us in and walk us through everything. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with all the basics we needed.

We booked several cozy rooms for a group of friends going to Untold festival, and it turned out to be great value for money. The staff were helpful, and the owners were friendly and attentive to what we needed. Sport Hostel is easy to reach from the airport and city attractions, with a bus stop nearby and car sharing that isn't too expensive. There are parking spaces too. We'll definitely come back whenever we're in Cluj.
