For summer, it’s decent value, though a few small upgrades would help a lot. The room was spacious and had air conditioning, and it was quiet. Parking was fine, with Maritimo Mall and larger stores like Real and Metro nearby. The downsides were hard to miss: no mosquito screens, shower curtain, or internet, and there wasn’t a refrigerator even though some photos show one. The towels were very old and an odd color, the bedding was torn, and there was no “Do not disturb” sign. Housekeeping could come in at 8 am while you were still in the room, even on vacation. I wonder if foreign guests get the same treatment.

There’s plenty of space in the rooms, but the mosquitoes were everywhere. With no window screens and air conditioners that weren’t working, it was uncomfortable. I’d suggest putting nets on the windows.

The beach is a long way off, and the place wasn’t very clean. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The city area is very appealing, but the hotel itself is old and the equipment feels just as dated.
