The breakfast was generous, but I missed seeing more local cooking on the table, things like homemade eggplant spread, zakuszka, jam, or other local products. That’s the one thing behind my less than perfect rating, and it isn’t the hosts’ fault, they’re lovely people. Korondon was still the best choice for us. I enjoyed the stay and would happily return. The Szekler people were kind and the surroundings cultured. Wishing the hosts good health, and hoping to see them again.

The location is central, but the listing photos looked much better than the place did in person. Our room was tiny, the setting felt uncomfortable, and the yard was crowded. The refrigerator was shared and stood at the end of the corridor. When we arrived to park, the host didn’t come to open the gate. There probably wasn’t space for more than three cars anyway.

The food was really delicious and there was plenty of it. We were greeted by a lovely flower-filled garden and clean, comfortable rooms, and the hospitality was warm and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owner and his family were such warm, generous hosts, and they suggested some good activities for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I loved every minute of the stay. We really want to come back! 🥰

The yard is lovely, but it didn’t give the children much room to play or move around. We were traveling with a group of students and felt they weren’t allowed to do anything, with demands being made of them all the time. It seemed the hosts couldn’t stand the children. Fortunately it didn’t rain, so we only spent the evenings at the accommodation.
