The rooms, service, and staff were ok, but the food was awful. There was very little variety and the quality wasn’t good, which was a big problem for us. If you’re vegetarian or have a particular diet, this is a bad place to stay. We made the mistake of trusting someone who said it was good, though they also said to avoid all-inclusive. I agree. The picture shows all the hot food, including French fries and similar items. My sincere advice is not to take the all-inclusive package.

At night, noisy clubs nearby made it hard to enjoy the otherwise cozy, pleasant place. The staff were polite and helpful. The private beach also needs its seaweed cleared every day, since getting into the sea is difficult as it is.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights after a late check-in, mainly because the pool looked nice, and the pool itself was pleasant. The staff were nice, and it’s a 4-star hotel with nothing in common with a classy 5-star place. Our bathroom had mold, one of our 4 pillows was dirty, and the toilet was dirty, with what I guess was vomit. Breakfast was mediocre and cheap. I heard guests at the pool say the all-inclusive had been their biggest hotel disappointment: draft Coke from 2L bottles, one type of beer, the cheapest in Romania, Golden Brau, and nothing else included. Not even coffee, which cost 7lei/2$. A bitter taste of Romanian tourism.

The hotel looks nice and the location is good, but I don’t think I’d come back. We stayed 6 nights, and comfort wasn’t an issue: the room was clean, had AC, and seemed to have everything expected of a 5-star hotel. The pool was nice too. We chose all-inclusive and got a plastic band with the hotel’s logo. The food had variety but was mediocre. One dinner was a real surprise: shoe-hard grilled beef, pasta with no sauce or garnish, and fish with green bones. There were tables by the pool, but we couldn’t use them for lunch or dinner. Those were for a la carte guests, who could choose to eat indoors instead. It felt like segregation. The servers were very polite and kind, and I can’t thank them enough. I also heard an older server, the same one who told me I had to eat inside instead of at the pool tables, yelling at them while we ate. That doesn’t seem very 5-star to me. The hotel’s not for me.
