We stayed as a group of 11, using three apartments and a double room. The hosts were friendly, easy to talk to, and quick to sort out any accommodation issues. They also provided most things we needed, from dishes and cleaning supplies to extra towels, including what we needed for a barbecue. The villa was quiet most of the time, with clean rooms and large, bright balconies. We especially enjoyed the leafy courtyard, with its trees and handmade waterfall. It was a lovely place to sit in the evening, and we didn’t have any trouble with mosquitoes or other bugs. The location worked well for us: the train station was a 2-3 minute walk away, the beach was under 10 minutes on foot, and there were 3-4 nearby shops with everything we needed. Parking was easy too, as the owner made enough room for our cars. I was pleasantly surprised to find a place like this on the Romanian coast. I hope others give it a try for a few days!

I’ve stayed at this guesthouse for two years running and plan to come back in the years ahead. The owners are kind, friendly, and ready to help with any problem. The courtyard is beautiful and full of plants, with three gazebos. One has been set up as a kitchen with an electric stove, microwave, grill, brick oven, and all the kitchen equipment you’d need. It really has the things you’d have at home. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with plenty of luggage storage, comfortable quiet beds, window screens, a TV, fridge, towels, and blankets. The bathrooms are clean and roomy too. The place is opposite the ZEN supermarket, about five minutes from the wreck and beach, and ten minutes from the resort amusement park.

We came as a group of 20 and were very happy with how welcoming the hosts were and how spotless everything was. We had lots of very young, noisy, fussy kids, but the owner still made us feel at home. They were friendly and discreet. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets and towels were impeccable. I usually bring my own linens in my luggage, so that really stood out. The yard is beautifully arranged with two gazebos, a barbecue area, and an equipped kitchen. It’s close to the beach and holiday village. There are three supermarkets right across the road and beside the property, with very affordable prices. We’ll definitely return!

We found mouse droppings under the beds, and cleanliness clearly hadn’t been kept up. The barbecue area was small too. A horrible place to stay, I wouldn’t recommend it.
