The stairwells to the rooms were almost completely dark, which felt dangerous. My two teenage children were put on the other side of the hotel and had to make their way around in pitch black. We also found three cockroaches in our room on arrival, and only got two rooms even though we had booked three. The staff were miserable and unhelpful, with a queue of guests complaining at customer relations all the time. WiFi cost £15 per week per device, and when it dropped out, as it often did, they refused to restore it. The bar areas smelled of stale beer, and the toilet lights were on timers, so the room went dark halfway through using them. I was also uncomfortable with male staff seeming to treat any girl over 13 as fair game. Another British family there was assaulted by a Russian guest, and staff could be seen walking very drunk guests back to their rooms every night. It wasn't an atmosphere I wanted my family around. This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in, and it ruined our annual holiday. Don't waste your money.

The parking situation made me uneasy. They had promised surveillance cameras for my car, but there weren't any, and parking was instead by the side of the road. Breakfast was disappointing too, with very little choice. My omelet was brought to a table that hadn't been cleaned, and I waited until 10:30 for the bill. When I arrived late at night, nobody was at reception, despite the hotel's description saying it was staffed 24/7. The employee I called seemed annoyed to be contacted. I left very disappointed. The hotel fell short on its promises, cleanliness, and basic service, so I can't recommend it. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves things for future guests.

This is based on the views of a group of more than 20 people. The coffee was good, but breakfast was a little sparse. Half the rooms had no heating, and there was no hot water at all in December. The room keycards only worked now and then.

The rooms were freezing in the morning because they turned the heating off at midnight. The beds were very small, and there was no hot water. Staff were rude and shouted at guests. Breakfast was okay, but started very late, at 08.15. This truckstop hotel is the worst three-star place I've seen. I really can't recommend it.

The breakfast was poor and only served from 7:30 to 9:00 am, and there's no restaurant. For what you get, the price feels quite high. I was very disappointed with the quality and service, and wouldn't recommend this place.
