For around 300 Lei, the room was fine, and the location was relatively central. But the railway right beside the hotel was annoying, especially at night with the constant honking. On our last day, the cleaning staff sprayed bug deterrent on the flow, and the smell wasn’t pleasant. We were told breakfast would be available from 8 to 10. When we went down to eat, we were rudely turned away, with no compensation offered. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We took the closest motel to the station after getting off the train late, knowing it would be basic. The friendly, talkative receptionist in the morning was a bright spot. He even suggested things to do in Deva. The bedding was simple and clean, and the room gave us a dry, warm place to sleep before continuing our trip the next day. The rug by the bed was untidy, and the bathroom carpet was messy, so we folded them up to make the room bearable. The shower door wouldn’t close all the way. We didn’t notice the train noise, though we were exhausted.

They take Euro, but try to tell you that 160 RON equals 40 Eur ^^. The room was very basic and overpriced, and the railway noise didn’t help. I never saw any breakfast either.

Never again… if you’re desperate for a quick rest, I’d sleep in the car instead. This place is a horrifying sh£t hole.
