Hotel Sarmis

Clean and quite comfortable, with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. The air conditioners running for heat made it a bit noisy.

Hotel Sarmis has a nostalgic communist-era feel that brings the distant past to mind. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and both the hotel and restaurant staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. Service was impeccable, with delicious food served in generous portions. Its central location is a plus. The basic amenities make it mainly suited to business travelers, but the old-fashioned atmosphere gives the stay an interesting character.

The staff made a bad stay even worse. They were rude from the start and seemed uninterested in making guests comfortable, with little courtesy or basic training. The room itself was filthy: feathers scattered around, old sheets, pigeon droppings on the windowsill, and a carpet covered in visible dirt and stains. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, and left me questioning the hygiene standards throughout Sarmis hotel. It’s disappointing that a hotel could miss such basic expectations. I won’t return to Sarmis, and I’d advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of places that take cleanliness and guest satisfaction seriously. Avoid at all costs.

I was there on a business trip, and the modern conference room worked properly. The front desk receptionist and restaurant staff were helpful and professional, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The air conditioning worked, and the water pressure was extraordinary ❤️. Some of the furniture is a bit old, but that didn’t bother me. Thank you.
