The night was hot and noisy. Dogs in the neighborhood barked until 1 o'clock, and since there was no AC in the room, I left the window open. The service wasn't very friendly. At breakfast and dinner, they didn't ask what I wanted to drink. The meals weren't very good either, and I wouldn't go back.

The back yard faces west, with sunset views over the hills, and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. The people were lovely, and it was a restful location. At first, I wasn't impressed. The restaurant couldn't offer me a single thing to eat, and the Wi-Fi was only available in the rooms. That would normally be fine, except the back porch was the best place to relax and the signal was almost completely blocked there. Then I saw the generous room with its adjoining spa, and I got a simple but wonderful breakfast.

A pleasure to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the coffee and hot chocolate were very good.
