Pensiunea Melba New ***

The view is the only reason I can think of to go, since there are other restaurants nearby with similar views and much better food. What we ate was merely decent, and the cleanliness needs a lot of work. The glasses hadn’t been washed properly, and the waitress put the table-wiping cloth on the floor, then used it again. I don’t understand why local hosts recommend this place so highly.

I didn't see the rooms, but the restaurant has a lovely view. The staff were five-star, very friendly and polite. The food wasn't great, and the prices were too high for what you get, so I preferred to drive a bit farther for a good meal.

The view is wonderful, which makes it a shame that this place has gone downhill. We only ate at the restaurant. The food was expensive and just okay, and the service was slow and unprofessional. Our order took ages and arrived lukewarm. The gyros was just fries, mixed grilled meat, and a sauce like tzatziki, nothing like gyros. I won't come back.

Ask for a room facing the Danube, otherwise you’ll get the heavy road traffic on the other side. The waiters and receptionist were very friendly, and communication was perfect. The restaurant doesn't have a good chef.
