The spa booking site doesn’t work properly, calls go unanswered, and the receptionists raise their voices and dismiss clients. They’re the worst receptionists I’ve dealt with. The staff member I spoke to talked back in a terrible tone, and the management seems bad. The staff were uneducated. Prices went up last year without any improvement in service. Then, just 4-5 months later, there was another new price list for the same or worse service. The cost doesn’t match what you get. It’s so overpriced that it’s hard to believe. If the staff had been pleasant, maybe I could have let the price go, but after that conversation, never again.

I had a great mix of a relaxing holiday and effective medical recovery. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are fairly modern, and the therapeutic pool really works.

We woke up to a gorgeous sunrise and a beautiful sea view from our room. The beach service made relaxing by the water easy, and the sky bar was a highlight. Our host there was warm, professional, and talented, and made us some exceptional cocktails. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good a winter seaside stay could be. The only drawback for us was the bed, which felt too small for four people, including our two children. Everything else was exceptional. At least in Eforie Nord, the hotels I’ve known before don’t compare with Steaua de Mare. They really know how to treat guests. I’ll gladly come back in winter, and we’re planning to try it in summer too, since it’s by the sea, not in the mountains!

We’ve been coming here for holidays for the past three years. The food has been delicious and the rooms luxurious, but two staff members were really annoying and didn’t maintain proper hygiene. The girl was a waitress, and you could see lice in her hair if you looked closely. The other man acted like he was the hotel boss. Please look into this. Otherwise, we won’t visit again.
