The garden has plenty of places to sit and somewhere to hang beachwear to dry, and the decor feels warm and creative. The owner was friendly, and we had a pleasant stay that we’d repeat. It’s a cozy place, though not a luxury one: the sheets weren’t pleasant and didn’t fit the blanket properly, and the TV didn’t work fully. What you see is what you get, since luxury isn’t promised.

The room and bathroom smelled bad, the toilet seat was broken, there were no towels, and the kitchen wasn’t equipped. The beach was too far away for us, and the price felt high for the condition. The hosts were too strict about noise and told our young kids, aged 3 to 5, not to run around. There was no BBQ either. I wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.

Mr. Munteanu was a great host, and the place felt like a peaceful little oasis. It’s around 10 minutes from the sea and the pier beach, and about 10 minutes from Şincai beach on the Techirghiol salted lake.
