I went just for the pool. It was big and pretty clean, with decent toilets, and 40 lei was a great entry price. The bar wasn't always open, but we managed.

The way things were managed felt very communist, and I felt like I was in jail. We had to wear hotel-name bracelets all the time, and they couldn't be removed. Someone, maybe one of the managers or owners, kept everyone on a tight leash. After each meal, for example, we were asked whether we were leaving so they could clear the table. Breakfast was self-service, but staff were there to tell people how much of each food they could take. At our last breakfast I brought food to the table for all of us, three adults and two children, as shown in the picture. Someone came over and said I wasn't allowed to take doggy bags. I explained who the food was for, and she said someone had told her we'd wanted to take food with us. She didn't acknowledge that she might be wrong or say anything like that. It made us feel really awkward.
It was quiet, the air conditioning worked, and the view was nice if you picked the right room. On the downside, the toilets smelled unpleasant, and it's not that close to the beach. Wi-Fi only worked at reception, and cleaning, or really just towel changes, happened every two days or so.
Water sprayed everywhere from the shower, which was dirty and broken.
The rooms are okay, but the bathroom in the room isn't much good.
