Casa Budisteanu

A lovely place to stay with friends or family. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Our rooms were huge, clean, and attractive, with lovely bathrooms. We had dinner there and it was delicious. The prices are quite reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend Casa Budișteanu. 😎👍

What stood out most was that the restaurant and hotel are in separate buildings, so even if there’s a party, it isn’t in the same building as your room. There’s on-site parking, and you can see your car clearly at night if you need to get something from it. The Wi-Fi was okay. Breakfast was mostly eggs, and the staff did their best. We stopped at Casa Budisteanu on our way to the sea. The rooms were spacious, the breakfasts were fine, and the staff were very welcoming. There were roses and flowers everywhere, which looked lovely. We arrived close to 9pm and weren’t sure whether the restaurant would still be open after 21:00, but it was. It’s a convenient stop, just up to 100 metres from the road, if you’re breaking up a journey and heading on the next morning. Be prepared to speak mostly Romanian, since not many staff members speak English. Google Translate helped us when English wasn’t working. No slippers, but shampoo and shower gel were provided.

Just stayed one night. Great room and a really good breakfast. I’d recommend it.

The rooms are okay, but the bathroom needs work. Service and staff were awful. They took away the breakfast we’d already paid for, and reception seemed undecided about whether the restaurant would be available to us.
