Corso Apartments B&B

The owner was lovely when I mentioned needing to do laundry, offering detergent and a clothes airer. The apartment itself was the biggest and cleanest I’ve seen around, with loads of space and the most comfortable bed. I’ll definitely book it again, it’s my go-to now.

Please make it clear in big letters that there’s no elevator up to the third floor.

Comfortable furniture and a clean room made this a good place to stay. Just be ready for mosquitoes.

At checkout, a woman knocked at 9:55 to see if we were leaving, then came back ten minutes later, annoyed, and nearly pushed us out because another guest was supposedly due at 11. Checkout was at 11, though. We argued and left with the children at 10:30. What a joke, and a really unpleasant experience. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. The apartment looked luxurious in the Booking pictures, but we woke up in an old apartment block where the stairwell bulbs didn’t work. Inside, there was lots of dust and a musty, even cigarette-like smell, despite the no-smoking rule. The coffee maker was unusable, and the bathroom soap dispenser was rusty.
